Refund & Cancellation Policy
General Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both parties. Please read it carefully before booking.
Deposits / Retainers
All deposits are non-refundable. The deposit secures your date, time, and our availability. It represents the time we have committed to you and the time we have turned away other clients to hold.
Cancellations by the Client
Creative Portraits & Professional Headshots

Cancelled 7+ days before the session: Deposit forfeited; remaining balance refunded in full

Cancelled 3–6 days before the session: 50% of the total session fee is due

Cancelled within 48 hours: Full session fee is due
Events

Cancelled 14+ days before the event: Deposit forfeited; remaining balance refunded in full

Cancelled 7–13 days before the event: 50% of the total fee is due

Cancelled within 7 days: Full session fee is due
Wedding Films

Cancelled 90+ days before the wedding: Deposit forfeited; remaining balance refunded in full

Cancelled 30–89 days before the wedding: 50% of the total package fee is due

Cancelled within 30 days: Full package fee is due
Wedding cancellations represent a significant loss of income due to the exclusivity of date holds. We strongly recommend event insurance to protect your investment.
Rescheduling
We are happy to reschedule your session, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made:

At least 48 hours in advance for Portraits, Headshots, and Events

At least 30 days in advance for Wedding Films
One complimentary reschedule is allowed per booking. Subsequent reschedules may incur an administrative fee. Your deposit will transfer to the new date.
Cancellations by Us
In the rare event that we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will:

Notify you as soon as possible

Offer a full reschedule at no additional cost

Issue a full refund (including deposit) if rescheduling is not possible
We are not liable for indirect costs (travel, accommodations, makeup, etc.) incurred by the Client in the event of a cancellation on our part.
No-Shows
If the Client fails to appear for a scheduled session without notice, the full session fee is forfeited. No refund or reschedule will be offered.
Weather & Outdoor Sessions
For outdoor sessions, minor weather inconveniences (overcast skies, light wind) do not qualify for cancellation. If conditions are genuinely unsafe (storms, lightning, extreme heat), we will work with you to reschedule at no additional charge.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
All cancellation and reschedule requests must be submitted in writing via email to the address provided at the time of booking. Verbal or text message requests can be accepted as a formal notice, if documented. Cancellations are effective upon our written acknowledgment.
